There is no prophet in the country, and in my case it means that I have received more satisfaction abroad than here. For the sake of truth, I confess I've never actually looked for them, ambition is not among my main faults, but more than a few times I had the impression of being invisible.
As it is, after years and years of managing the blog, finally someone noticed that my chronicles from the world of patchwork have their own specific value, and this someone stands, manco a dirlo, beyond the border.
It had already happened in Alsace, when I preferred to give up an active role (albeit temporary) as I have extreme difficulty expressing myself in a language other than my own (my travel agent takes care of that / sherpa / photographer / webmaster / ecc.). This time however it is the Czech Republic that gives me an implicit recognition by sending me the press accreditation for the exhibition of the Prague Patchwork Meeting to be held in Brno.
Bene, it only took twelve years of work, però, in the end, ce l’abbiamo fatta. Evviva!
